Epic Fury Kuwait Death: Pentagon Identifies Four Soldiers Killed During Operation Epic Fury in Kuwait

The U.S. Department of Defense has identified four American soldiers who were killed on March 1, 2026, during an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) attack in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, while serving in support of Operation Epic Fury.

The fallen service members have been identified as:

  • Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida
  • Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska
  • Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota
  • Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa

All four soldiers were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) based in Des Moines, Iowa. They were deployed in support of operations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility when the attack occurred.

According to Pentagon officials, the soldiers died as a result of injuries sustained during the drone attack. The incident remains under investigation, and military authorities are continuing to assess the circumstances surrounding the strike.

In addition to the four soldiers identified, two other service members were also killed in the same attack. Their names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The loss has deeply affected military communities across Florida, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa, as well as fellow service members within the 103rd Sustainment Command. Leaders have expressed condolences to the families and emphasized the courage and dedication of the fallen soldiers.

As the nation mourns, tributes continue to pour in honoring their service, sacrifice, and commitment to duty. Their legacy will endure through the lives they touched and the mission they supported.
